Allu Arjun has filed a regular bail plea in the Hyderabad stampede case. This incident occurred during the premiere of his latest film, "Pushpa 2: The Rule," at the Sandhya Theatre in Hyderabad on December 4, 2024. A 35-year-old woman died, and her eight-year-old son was injured in a stampede-like situation when fans jostled to catch a glimpse of the actor. Following the tragedy, the Hyderabad police registered a case against Allu Arjun, his security team, and the theatre management under various sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).Allu Arjun was arrested on December 13, 2024, and was produced before the Nampally court, which remanded him to 14-day judicial custody. Shortly after, the Telangana High Court granted him interim bail for four weeks, and he was released from jail on December 14, 2024. As the 14-day remand period was ending, Allu Arjun appeared virtually before the court on Friday, December 27, 2024, citing security reasons and to avoid inconvenience to the public. The court has scheduled the next hearing for December 30, 2024.The investigation into the incident is ongoing, with the police summoning Allu Arjun for questioning as part of the probe. Hyderabad Police have also warned against the circulation of misleading videos related to the case, emphasizing the importance of accurate information.
