Amari Niblack's College Football Journey: From Alabama to Texas and Now Texas A&M

Amari Niblack is a college football player who has had a notable journey through the NCAA. Initially, he was a 4-star recruit out of high school and committed to the University of Alabama. During his time at Alabama, he played in 14 games for the Crimson Tide in 2023, contributing to their College Football Playoff semifinals run.
Niblack transferred to the University of Texas in January 2024, where he was expected to fill a significant role as a tight end. He was named to the preseason list for the 2024 John Mackey Award, which is given to the nation's top tight end. However, his tenure at Texas was short-lived; he played only nine games and did not see much playing time, primarily behind another tight end, Gunnar Helm.

Recently, Niblack has decided to enter the NCAA Transfer Portal again. Reports indicate that he plans to sign with Texas A&M, where his addition could provide much-needed depth to the Aggies' tight end rotation, especially after the departure of key players to the NFL Draft and graduation.
