Blake Lively Accuses Justin Baldoni of Sexual Harassment and Retaliation in 'It Ends With Us' Controversy
Blake Lively has accused her "It Ends With Us" co-star and director, Justin Baldoni, of sexual harassment and retaliation. The accusations include inappropriate comments, physical harassment, and a smear campaign aimed at destroying her reputation.
Additionally, Lively claimed that Baldoni and the film's producer, Jamey Heath, discussed their previous pornography addiction and showed her a video of Heath's wife giving birth, which she found highly inappropriate. She also alleged that Baldoni coerced her into an unplanned nude scene and allowed his best friend to play a doctor during the birth scene, which she found invasive and humiliating.
In response to the allegations, Baldoni's attorney, Bryan Freedman, has strongly denied the claims, calling them "categorically false" and "intentionally salacious." Freedman stated that the accusations were a desperate attempt by Lively to fix her negative reputation, which he attributed to her own remarks and actions during the film's promotion. He also mentioned that Wayfarer Studios, which Baldoni co-founded, proactively hired a crisis manager due to multiple demands and threats made by Lively during production.
The controversy has also led to Baldoni being dropped by his talent agency, which further complicates the situation.
