Maruti Suzuki is set to launch several new models in 2025, including electric vehicles and updated versions of existing models. Here are the key highlights:
Features: The e Vitara will offer two battery pack options (49kWh and 61kWh), delivering 144bhp and 174bhp respectively. It will have a range of over 500km with the larger battery pack and will also offer an AllGrip-e system (AWD) and a dual-motor option.
Design: The e Vitara features charging ports on the front flanks, tri-slash LED DRLs at the front and rear, and pronounced creases over the rear wheel arches. The interior includes a twin-spoke flat-bottom steering wheel, a floating dual-screen infotainment and instrument cluster, and part-fabric, part-leatherette upholstery.
2. Maruti Suzuki 7-Seater SUV
Codename: Y17
Competition: This new three-row SUV will compete against models like the MG Hector Plus, Mahindra XUV700, and Tata Safari.

Platform and Powertrain: Based on Suzuki’s Global C platform, it will come with 1.5L K15C petrol mild hybrid and 1.5L Atkinson strong hybrid powertrain options. The mild hybrid setup delivers 103bhp and fuel efficiency of 21.1kmpl, while the strong hybrid version offers 115bhp and a mileage of 27.97kmpl.
Production: The new Kharkhoda manufacturing facility will serve as the production hub for this model.
3. Maruti Suzuki Fronx Facelift
Hybrid Technology: The Fronx facelift will debut Maruti Suzuki’s new hybrid engine, which includes a 1.2L 3-cylinder Z12E petrol engine combined with a battery pack ranging between 1.5kWh and 2kWh, and an electric motor.
Efficiency: This strong hybrid system is expected to achieve higher efficiency by utilizing the battery pack to power the motor, reducing engine usage.
Additional Launches
Maruti Suzuki Dzire: The new Dzire, based on the new-generation Swift, will feature a sharper and more mature design, potentially including a segment-first electric sunroof.
