The suspect, identified as 28-year-old Jason Sargeant, first attacked a 42-year-old man, slashing his wrist. Sargeant then moved to the mezzanine level and slashed a 26-year-old woman in the neck. Both victims were taken to the hospital and are now in stable condition.Sargeant was quickly apprehended by police after witnesses pointed him out. A knife was found in his jacket, and he has been charged with multiple offenses, including assault, reckless endangerment, menacing, and criminal possession of a weapon. Sargeant has a history of prior arrests.During his court appearance on Wednesday night, Sargeant held up a handwritten note pleading for his mother to take him home, showcasing his emotional distress. He was held on a $150,000 bail.
